I edited for David Liu, a youtuber who creates lifestyle content based in Chicago. David currently sits at 1.25k subscribers.
My Role
As David's editor I was in charge of editing long form videos for his channel. I used final cut pro to cut down the video, create smooth animations, manage the audio and add sound effects.
What I learned
This was my first time working directly with another youtuber to fulfill their vision. Working with David was a positive experience that enhanced my communication and collaborations skills specifically when it comes to creative collaboration.
Outcomes
I produced two long form videos for David's channel.
This was our first video together, where we established our workflow and sent a few drafts back and forth.

Overall, we were both happy with the outcome.
Our second video together was also fun to make and we learned a lot from our first video together making this one a much smoother process.
